The TLM System

The TLM System is the product of many years of experience in fish farming, lake management and sport fishing club management. This knowledge has allowed us to put together an integrated system for individuals that are serious about the productivity of their ponds or lakes. Having implemented this program for many years on many different properties, we know that if our clients follow this program, they will have a clean, attractive pond or lake and they will catch fish. The basic principles of The TLM System are:

Design –water supply, grades, structure, bottom contours and features are critical to maintenance costs and fishability.
Stocking – we know how to stock the right species in the correct ratios and sizes at the right time for maximum results. Most pond owners stock the wrong type of fish in too low of densities to result in quality fishing.
Aeration – the single best thing you can do for your pond, aeration helps to prevent fish die offs, increases growth rates, minimizes algae production and turns over stagnated water.
Feeding – increases growth rates and fish health dramatically as well as allows your pond to support more fish per acre.
Maintenance – annual management to control
vegetation and monitor water quality to improve
fishability and keep catch rates high.
Forage – threadfin shad is the single best species
to efficiently add weight to bass. We have the
largest supply of threadfin shad in the Southwest
and can guarantee periodic stockings to our
clients.
